PRAGUE & BUDAPEST Golfing Holiday

Be sure to visit our PHOTO GALLERY to see more photographs of Prague and Budapest plus all our other destinations.

And as always, non-golfers are welcome to join and enjoy their dream holiday with special outings and sightseeing on the days the golfers are out on the course.

  May 2026

Prague and Budapest are two of the most beautiful

and most visited cities in Europe

And not only are they postcard-beautiful, they also have world class golf courses, endless sightseeing, world-renowned breweries and superb restaurants.

We have packaged all of this, along with guided sightseeing and fun excursions to make our 2026 Prague – Budapest tour a never-to-be forgotten experience.

And with their own currencies, both countries offer real value for money.

 Day 1

On arrival at Prague Airport, we are transferred by air-conditioned coach to our  5-star hotel, our home for the next

4 nights is the perfect choice in Prague.

In keeping with the historical nature of Prague, we have rented a fleet of vintage cars for our orientation of the beautiful city. English speaking driver-guides will drive us in procession through the city, pointing out highlights and explaining the rich culture which is around every corner.

After the enchanting drive through Prague, the ideal choice for dinner in this beautiful city will be close to our hotel at one of the restaurants lining the main square.

Day 2 We start the day with a short walkabout to the ensure that everyone is orientated and comfortable with the directions in Prague, then the rest of the day has been kept free to allow everyone to spend the day the way they want… ticking off their ‘To Do’s” on the Prague Top 10 list, which includes: Prague Castle for a visit to Prague’s Number 1 tourist attraction shopping for local bargains in the Old Town, going to a live show or musical performance visiting some of the local attractions “relaxing” Prague style at some of its many sidewalk cafes and restaurants. Watching the famed astronomical clock chime the hour enjoy a slow river cruise to get a wonderful view of the city’s colourful architecture

Day 3 Our first golf in the Czech Republic is at the scenic LORETA Golf Club, one of Europe’s most photogenic courses as it winds through the valleys, around the surrounding hills and through the mixed forests of the region. The clubhouse blends in perfectly with the surroundings and has superb views across the course and lake. While the golfers are out on the course, the non-golfers will have the opportunity to explore more of Prague, including the much sought-after Bohemian Crystal shops close to our city centre hotel.

Day 4 Golf this morning is at the ALBATROSS Golf Club, where golf is perfectly blended with nature and which hosts the Czech Masters…. A European Tour Event. A truly memorable golfing experience.

Day 5 Today we transfer by coach from Prague to Budapest and check into our hotel 100 meters from the Danube.

Day 6 A guided half-day coach tour is the perfect way to learn about one of the world’s most fascinating cities. Along the way, our local guide will introduce the group to Heroes Square (and explain how Hungary survived Nazi and Communist rule to become the modern country it is today). Other highlights of the outing include visiting the sightseeing viewpoints above the river, Fisherman’s Bastion, the Chain Bridge, the poignant “shoe” memorial beside the Danube River, the houses of parliament, the healing waters of the Gellert Spa baths and St Stephens Basilica.

Day 7 Today is a day at leisure with an endless list of activities and sights from which to choose. The most popular are certain to be: A visit to the Royal Palace Take a tram (#2) to the impressive WEST END shopping mall for a range of top-brand shops and a wide selection of restaurants Take a guided tour through the splendid parliament buildings Visit Budapest’s famous warm therapeutic Gellert Spa and Szechenyi Baths Visit the Hungarian state theatre or enjoy a folk dance show

Day 8 Our final scheduled round of scheduled golf is at the impressive and stately Pannonia Golf Club, home to many local and regional tournaments. Winding through the indigenous forests of the region, Pannonia GC is a perfect example of Hungarian golf and the friendly nature of the locals and boasts one of the homeliest clubhouses in Europe. While the golfers are taking up the challenge of golf in Budapest, the non-golfers have the opportunity to explore the attractions and sights of the city... with the impressive city centre and its endless shopping and café lifestyle ensuring a busy day for all. And for those looking for some pampering and a therapeutic hot spring, the GELLERT SPA is just across the river from our hotel.

This evening is one of the highlights of any visit to Budapest….. An Evening River Cruise. We board our cruise boat after a short walk from our hotel and enjoy a one hour cruise to experience the Golden City in all its night-time glory… rated by most authorities as the most spectacular evening cruise in Europe.

Day 9 Today has been kept free to allow everyone to catch up and spend the day the way they want… ticking off their ‘To Do’s” not yet done, playing an optional round of golf at a nearby course, shopping for local bargains, strolling along the Danube, revisiting some of the local attractions or just simply “relaxing” Budapest style at some its many sidewalk cafes and restaurants. There is so much to do in Budapest it is hard to fit it all in.

Day 10 We check out of our hotel and transfer to Budapest Airport for our flights back home.

Goodbye beautiful cities.... We’re going to miss you.
