Tuesday 22 July On arrival at Danang’s modern international airport, we are transferred by air-conditioned coach to our central hotel in Hoi An…. Rated by TRIP ADVISOR as the 2nd most desirable global town to visit…a traveller’s paradise.

Located just 5 minutes’ walk from the Old Town of Hoi An, our 4-star hotel is the perfect base for our eight nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The amenities and facilities offered are extensive and include two swimming pools, an outdoor dining and recreation area in a tropical garden atmosphere, a free gym and ADSL connection and a shuttle to the Cua Dai Beach, plus a health and beauty spa. Wednesday 23 July The tour itinerary has been designed to allow everyone to enjoy their holiday the way they would like to enjoy it. For those who only want to play three rounds of golf, we have that arranged. For those who feel they can add one, two or three rounds to the schedule taking into account how the bodies feel, we arrange that easily. Today is a day to settle in, unwind, to orientate and to relax a little as your holiday gets underway and starts with an orientation walk around the Old Town to identify restaurants, shopping areas, markets, ATMs and of course the recommended tailors and the silk clothing and cloth factory. Then there is time to relax a little, explore more of Hoi An, play an optional round of golf, visit some of the markets, laze on the beach, have a massage to prepare the muscles for the golf or simply relax beside the hotel pool.

And while the golfers are out on the course this week, the non-golfers are sure to be found experiencing the wonders of the country, shopping at markets where bargains are the word or exploring the narrow shopping streets. Late afternoon we board our river boat to explore the river estuary and to watch the net fishermen catching fish for tomorrow’s menus. Returning to Hoi An as the sun goes down over the Old Town when its lanterns come alive is one memory never to be forgotten. Be sure to have your camera charged and on standby!

Thursday 24 July Our first official round of golf is at the spectacular Montgomery Links, which winds through a coastal forest and is the perfect start to golf on tour. Golf cars and personal caddies are included for all golf on tour.

Friday 25 July Today’s golf is at the course voted the World’s Best New Course in 2016…BA NA HILLS. Set amongst one of the most impressive mountain ranges in the region, BA NA has been voted Asia’s and Vietnam’s Best Golf Course for the past 6 years. And as we always do with our Vietnam groups, a late tee-off allows the golfers the opportunity to play their final holes under lights….. which is voted the best golf experience by golfers from around the world.

Saturday 26 July Today is a day at leisure to spend the way you want to enjoy it. An optional round of golf, a visit to one of the many massage spas, explore the architecture and history of the Old Town, attend a cooking course at our hotel to learn the Vietnamese cooking skills and make your own spring rolls, and enjoy a super fresh salad lunch, visit the wood carving factory for customised key rings to take home, or just chill and enjoy a lazy day beside our hotel pool to feel more relaxed than ever. Or head into the Old Town again and shop up a storm in the markets and bargain-filled narrow streets of Hoi An. Options are endless.

Sunday 27 July After a slow start, we head to nearby MY SON to explore the ancient ruins which also have close ties to the Vietnam war. A fascinating introduction to ancient civilizations and the cultural development of the East. Early afternoon we collect our bicycles for one of the highlights of the tour….. a cycle through the paddies and countryside, past lagoons, estuaries and fish farms to the ever-popular restaurant on the beach.

Monday 28 July Golf today is at the exquisite Greg Norman designed DANANG LINKS, the first links style course in Southeast Asia. It has numerous old world features, making it reminiscent of the traditional links courses of Scotland while its surroundings are so similar to Melbourne’s Sandbelt region. Remember that single use golf cars and caddies are part of the package for every course you play! The caddies are legendary and many of them are good golfers themselves, so you will be well looked after with their local knowledge to help you with your lines and getting acquainted with the local conditions.

Tuesday 29 July Today is our last free day in Hoi An…. And with so many top-class golf courses around Hoi An, those wanting to spend the day on the golf course are spoiled for choice. But, no matter how you choose to spend it...on the golf course, at the beach, last-minute shopping, cycling in the countryside, chilling with friends...we know you are going to enjoy it! And as the sun sets this evening it will be time to enjoy one last dinner in this unbelievable lantern-filled town and enjoy the friendly Vietnamese service that goes with it.

Wednesday 30 July This morning has been left open to enable everyone to spend the last hours in Hoi An the way they want...playing an early optional round of golf, enjoying the sights and excursions, shopping or just relaxing beside the ocean or the hotel pool, it will be as busy or relaxed as you want it to be. At noon we board our coach for the transfer to Danang Airport and our flights back home.

Goodbye Hoi An. We’re going to miss you.
